"Woo stands for winning others over. You enjoy the challenge of meeting new people and getting them to like you. Strangers are rarely intimidating to you...You are drawn to them. You want to learn their names, ask them questions, and find some area of common interest so that you can strike up a conversation and build rapport...In your world there are no strangers, only friends you haven't met yet - lots of them." - pg. 116 of Now, Discover Your Strengths (Buckingham & Clifton)

Birthday parties can still be intimidating

Woo doesn't mean you are never apprehensive to walk into a room full of strangers. One of my Woo friends told me she is still intimidated by birthday parties where she doesn't know many of the guests, but once she gets there she is energized by meeting new people.

I see her at these parties, her face lights up when a stranger is falling for her (non-sexually, just socially). She wins people over mostly because she is naturally interested in learning about them. She asks them lots of questions and makes the conversation largely about them. But also because she has Communication as another one of her themes, so tells great stories.
